Just like your wardrobe, your skin care routine may need some extra coverage during the cold winter months. 

Dropping temperatures and harsh weather can penetrate the epidermal barrier, making skin dry and irritated, and the products you use during the spring and summer may not be enough to keep your skin sufficiently hydrated and healthy.

We’ve Applied to Begin a Kidney Transplant Program

We have submitted a Certificate of Public Need (COPN) application to the Virginia Division of COPN (DCOPN) to begin a renal (otherwise known as kidney) transplant program for adults at CRMH. If approved, it would become the only transplant program in Southwest Virginia. 

“We’re committed to continuing to provide our neighbors and community with more access to sophisticated medical services,” said CEO Nancy Howell Agee. “The need is clear, and we’re fortunate to have the clinical expertise to perform this lifesaving procedure.” 

Shoes4Hope Sneakers Help Raise Pediatric Cancer Awareness

Spectators at two recent Virginia Tech basketball games enjoyed the competition on Carilion Clinic Court at Cassell Coliseumand learned about our work to care for pediatric cancer patients.

What did it take to inform the crowd? Just our youngest patients and Hokies basketball players using their creativity to turn white sneakers into miniature works of art.
