Research Day Puts Innovation on Display: See Photos

Submitted by lemitchell on

Our 17th annual Research Day featured more than 100 oral and poster presentations from residents, fellows, faculty, staff and students in undergraduate and graduate programs—and even a Hidden Valley High School and Roanoke Valley Governor's School student! Forty-one presentations were by student researchers.

See this article for a list of projects and presenters.

The event also brings together our research partners from the Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine, the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute at VTC and Radford University Carilion.

Scroll through the photos to see more about this year's Research Day, and start thinking about projects to improve patient care that you might want to lead for next year's event!
