Congress has approved a temporary extension of current Medicare telehealth flexibilities through Jan. 30, 2026. Further action from Congress will determine whether these flexibilities continue beyond that date.

Situation: If you use self-scheduling in UKG Pro and have a license or certification that expires during the schedule period, you may not be able to sign up for the full 6-week schedule.

The iKnowMed Patient Viewer integrates the iKnowMed patient record with Carilion’s Epic application, allowing clinicians to view patient information without leaving Epic. Data in iPV is updated in real time and can be accessed with a single click.

Habib Samady, MD, will join our team as Carilion’s inaugural senior vice president and director of the Cardiovascular Institute.
Dr. Samady brings more than two decades of leadership in advancing cardiovascular care, most recently serving as president of the Cardiovascular service line and co-founder and president of the Georgia Heart Institute at Northeast Georgia Health System. Prior to that he served as a professor of medicine, director of interventional cardiology and cardiac catheterization laboratory at Emory University School of Medicine.
Effective Monday, September 1, 2025, we will retire the COVID Level of Service placeholder code. Starting in September, clinicians must use standard Evaluation and Management (E/M) codes for all patient encounters.
