CGCH Christmas Day Cheer

Submitted by jecollins on

CGCH Employees working Christmas Day took the time to spread some Christmas cheer!  Each inpatient received a 2022 crafty Reindeer or Christmas tree made with love from the Imaging Elves! Employees from every department participated. These ornaments were given to all the inpatients that had to spend Christmas day in the hospital with lots of well wishes and healing thoughts! Hoping our patients remember the loving care they received from CGCH for years to come!

Way to Go Velocity Care

Submitted by lmrumensky on

A few weeks ago, i received an email asking for help in providing for an Angel Tree in the community. I then reached out to the Velocity Care team and was astounded at the responses to help that came pouring in!!! A huge THANK YOU to the Velocity Care staff and managers that went a step above to assist in collecting Christmas gifts. As a result to your efforts we were able to provide Christmas for 5 deserving children this year. Your generosity and compassion have touched so many, this is just another example of how amazing each of you are.

Thank you Roy Dillard for treating my grandma with such compassion!

My grandma had a cardioversion done on Wednesday Dec. 21st, and she was so nervous about the procedure. Luckily we got the good fortune to have Roy Dillard, CA, be the one to transport her to her procedure. She was so nervous, and of course a little frightened, but Roy went above and beyond to make sure she felt comfortable. He had her laughing within seconds of entering the bedspace, he held her hand, and took the time to make sure she understood everything that was about to take place.
