Congratulations to Becca Dixon on winning the DAISY Award!!

The DAISY award honors nurses who go above and beyond and make extraordinary differences in patients' and families' experiences in healthcare. We are so thankful for nurses like Becca who make a difference each and every day in the course of their job.  No matter what the nurses' day brings, a nurses' impact is invaluable and long-lasting to their patients and families.

Please take a moment to read Becca's nomination story. 

I had an extremely long labor process (around 50 hours) that was very difficult at the beginning of August and Becca was my nurse for the last shift of it. There were many complications that occurred during the labor process and Becca was there for my husband and I and was encouraging us during the absolute most difficult part of the labor and what ended up turning into an emergency C-section. I was joking with the other nurse that came to help Becca prepare me for the C-section that I had been in such a good mood the entire process but that it was becoming very difficult for me now but they both continued to encourage me. Following the delivery of my baby who had to go to the NICU for a little while, Becca went out of her way to come over to me and give us even more encouragement. She even sent a card to our house following the delivery which we appreciated so much. Thank you Becca!! You really blessed our lives during a very difficult time and we hope this nomination blesses yours!
