Special thanks to Curtis Tyree and Scott Humphries who went above and beyond to help me when my side glass decided to break on my way to work. These guys did not hesitate one bit to jump in and help me get it fixed so i didnt have to worry about my car getting rained in. You guys are amazing again Thank you very much!!!
I had recently had a family member that was brought to CFMH by ambulance. He was very sick at the time and the staff went above and beyond getting things done quickly. Anytime that he was hurting or had mishaps they were right there to get him fixed up and clean. I can only say good things about our local Hospital. He had a nurse by the name of Ebony Legans and she was so good with him and us family members that were there. She showed so much compassion in her and the love that she poured out to each of us was very heart warming. Thank you Ebony for taking such good care of us...

As a Carilion employee, I have spent the last six years giving 100% to all of my patients, their families, and friends. I do this because I feel like I am a good caring person. I also hope that when the day comes I will have the same care for myself, and my loved ones.
A group of CAPS leaders from across the system volunteered recently to help clean up untended garden beds at the Mountain View Community Garden. Thanks to Dr. Suzy Kraemer, Pam Booth, Shawn Blackwell, Branden Robertson, Tiffany Morrison, Ashli Semones and John Schumacher, the beds are all weeded and ready for new gardeners!

Our friendly Hospitality volunteers have ditched their traditional navy vests for a new look. These CRMH volunteers now sport aprons monogrammed with the Carilion logo as they provide comfort to guests waiting for their loved ones. This special group of volunteers visit waiting areas offering coffee and snacks, just another way Guest and Volunteer Services cares for visitors in our facilities.
The 4 South PACU assisted Feeding Southwest Virginia on August 17th and was able to assist with filling food boxes for the community. These food boxes will be sent out to the seniors in our community. Often seniors, especially those on a fixed income, are vulnerable to food shortages. This is why the 4 South PACU wanted to take this opportunity to help our seniors. PACU is well aware of the benefits of nutrition on the healing process.
