Hospitality Volunteers Serving Coffee with a Side of Comfort

Our friendly Hospitality volunteers have ditched their traditional navy vests for a new look. These CRMH volunteers now sport aprons monogrammed with the Carilion logo as they provide comfort to guests waiting for their loved ones. This special group of volunteers visit waiting areas offering coffee and snacks, just another way Guest and Volunteer Services cares for visitors in our facilities.

But visitors aren’t the only ones who benefit from the hospitality cart.  Those taking advantage of this extra nourishment can donate to the Youth Scholarship Fund.  Over the years, the cart has generated more than $75,000 for scholarships that benefit Carilion’s youth volunteers.
