CSJH and CRMH Working Together

Submitted by rxcapito on

One Friday morning 6 AM E Mail from CSJH to Ryan Mullins and the Social Services team at CRMH put into motion an amazing response! By 8 AM the CRMH team had assigned Carly Villarreal (an expert and a star!) to help us with a complicated patient care issue @ Stonewall. By 9 AM she had reviewed the chart and had the beginnings of a plan. We all met in a conference call at 9:15. Throughout the day Carly and many other folks at CRMH assisted us in the development of a plan for this patients safe disposition.

Collaboration: Provider Dashboard Project

Submitted by casawyers on

As we reflect upon Carilion Clinic's values, the collaboration between Courtney Espostio and Shea Jesse from Health Analytics along Heather Mcglothlin from finance is notable.   Courtney, Heather, and Shea partnered together to redesign and implement the new provider dashboards.   The new dashboards were implemented in October with very positive feedback from providers.   In addition, the dashboards are now delivered more timely and efficiently.     Job well done!

9MPCU 'A-Team'

Submitted by sedavies on

I chose Collaberation as the leading Carilion value, but I want to add compassion and commitment as well for the phenomenal team I worked with today on 9 Mountain PCU at CRMH. Theresa Kern has put together an outstanding team on this unit! Nursing aid, Brooklyn, was such a trooper as the only aid on the floor today-but not once did I hear her complain. And why would she?-when the exemplory RNs on this unit rose to the occasion, helping out with even the most mundnane of tasks, like changing out telemetry box batteries or grabbing a drink for a thirsty patient.
