Carilion Clinic Hopsice NRV: We Honor Veterans Level V designation

HOT OFF THE PRESSES!!!!  Carilion Clinic Hospice New River Valley has just been awarded Level V of the We Honor Veterans program – the ONLY hospice in Virginia to receive this designation thus far. Please see the message below from The National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization.

The National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization shares our sincerest gratitude for your organization's commitment to the We Honor Veterans program and your efforts to serve our nation's Veterans and their families. Your diligent care does not go unnoticed and you have continued to display the gratitude, respect, and honor that everyone deserves at the end-of-life.
Being a champion for Veterans means more than just shaking hands and saying "thank you" on Veterans Day. Your efforts relay a message not only to the Veterans under your care but to the family, caregivers, and community that strive to provide the best to our nation's heroes. When we set out to create the Level 5 program we knew that it had to be different to truly showcase the efforts needed to go above and beyond. Not only have you demonstrated your commitment, but you have helped shape the program and have continued as an example of what all hospice partners should strive to be.
