During the patient's time at CFMH, they were attended to by Phyllis.

She took care of the patient's every need, and in a professional
yet personable manner. She answered all their
questions, always knocked before opening the door
to my room, and gave me 100% of her attention.
Phyllis convinced the patient that she was knowledgeable
about her job, and felt that they were receiving the best
care that they could get. Per the patient, Phyllis deserves

The VAPP Committee presented recognition awards to several units for the prevention of (VAP) ventilator-associated pneumonia and (IVAC) Infection-related ventilator-associated complication during the 2023 calendar year.

7SPCU,7MPCU,8MPCU and 10MPCU were recognized for being VAP& IVAC free during 2023.

6SICU,6MICU and 10MICU were recognized for being VAP free during 2023.

Huge shout out to all the CNRVMC CVI Staff for their hard work on the annual Wear Red Day event that was held recently.

Friday February 2, 2024 from 10am to 2pm The department provided education to about 200 staff members of the hospital.

Education ranged from the types of testing they provide in the CVI department to education on things staff could do to keep their heart healthy

The department was excited to be able to celebrate this day in person again.

Shout out to Tasha Brown, PCT on 7 South PCU!

Every time I'm floated here, I enjoy getting report from Tasha. She is very thorough and pays a huge attention to detail. I love her for caring about the little things (i.e., no items by the sink, etc.)

...for going above and beyond on a DAILY basis to help get rooms cleaned so that new patients can have a room in a timely manner, Today, when things were busier than expected, Paula--an EVS associate-- worked through her lunch--without complaint--to help get a patient out of the ED. Thank you, Paula, for all you do.   

I would like to give a shout out to Brayden in our Cafe at Riverside 3. He is always courteous, kind and very respectful to staff and our patients. Brayden wears a smile on his face every day he is here even if the cafe is busy; which it tends to get. Even if he is the only staff member in the area, he communicates well and promptly assists anyone waiting. 

Autumn was nominated for a Great Catch by one of her peers for her 'keen eye' when she realized a patient had left their discharge paperwork and bag of medications in their wheelchair. Autumn caught up to the patient and their caregiver to make sure they made it home with their discharge instructions AND their medications. Thank you, Autumn for your commitment and dedication to our patients!

The staff at CRMH Inpatient Mental Health Rehab would like to thank you for your phenomenal work of making our sinks shine like brand new. Our wash basins now look brand new when they are more than half a century old. Your sincere caring and dedication makes our environment more appealing to the eye and more sanitary because of your lovely dedication.
