The VAPP Committee recognizes units for their VAP prevention efforts.

The VAPP Committee presented recognition awards to several units for the prevention of (VAP) ventilator-associated pneumonia and (IVAC) Infection-related ventilator-associated complication during the 2023 calendar year.

7SPCU,7MPCU,8MPCU and 10MPCU were recognized for being VAP& IVAC free during 2023.

6SICU,6MICU and 10MICU were recognized for being VAP free during 2023.

9SPCU and 9MPCU were recognized for being IVAC free in 2023.

 8MICU and 7SCCU were recognized for maintaining oral care compliance at 90% for the 2023 year. We commend these units for their hard work and dedication to efforts at keeping our patients safe.
