Great Boss!

Brooke Hickman, our Unit director in 11 west, had been taking a group of six high acuity patients including a very difficult patient that everybody refuses to have, for two days in a row because we are so short of RNs on the floor. I have never had a boss as great as her. You rock, Brooke! Thank you for all you do!

Just a shout out to my sweet co worker Kaitlyn Puzio RN who followed up with a patient and his wife following outpatient surgery.  Things went awry during his first visit, with some mixed communication.  Kaitlyn followed it through, made it right, and when this sweet patient and his sweet wife came back for another procedure the following week, she did an AMAZING job of service recovery.  She popped in his room, like a ray of sweet sunshine.  She acknowledged there were opportunities for improvement, and explained that she was doing all she could "behind the scenes" to m

CNRV Daisy Award Nominee

The July/August CNRV Daisy Award goes to Mary Otey, RN with our CCU Team! Thank you for all you do Mary! Some of the things her patients had to say about her:

Mary took such good care of me during my CCU stay 9/24, and 9/25. She was in and out of my room so many times checking on me I couldn’t count. Working 12 hours shift she still provides great care and takes care of all concerns. A true asset to CNRVMC.

Want to recognize Greg Basham of the Franklin Rd warehouse for help with a very late "hot" order Wednesday night Dec. 2. Called for something critical @ 4:45 PM and it was in my hands by 7:00 -- made my "customer" happy & made me look good!
