We have completed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the City of Roanoke that establishes a biotechnology incubator. Known as RoVa Labs at Carilion Clinic, the incubator will support the growth of research spinoffs and start-up companies as they work to commercialize groundbreaking research.

The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a tornado watch alert for parts of Southwest Virginia and Central Virginia until 2 p.m. this afternoon.
It’s important to regularly monitor NWS alerts for tornado watches and warnings and be aware of where you plan to go when severe weather occurs. The best source of information regarding weather alerts will be from the NWS alerts that ping phones based on their location, giving you real-time alerts for severe weather in your area.
