Submitted by sereid on

Breastfeeding can come with questions and challenges, and patients don’t have to navigate them alone. Carilion Children’s and Carilion Women’s now offer breastfeeding support to help families feel informed and supported throughout their feeding journey.

The team can help with breastfeeding, latching, feeding concerns and more. Support is provided in a welcoming, judgment-free environment and is focused on helping each family reach their individual feeding goals.

Stop Before You Sign In: Protect Your Carilion Credentials

Submitted by abshaver on

Phishing messages are increasingly designed to look like routine workplace communications. Recent examples have imitated Microsoft task notifications, OneDrive document-sharing alerts, salary updates, and employee-benefits announcements. They may use familiar logos and professional formatting, but their purpose is to direct you to a fraudulent website and steal your credentials.

The most important rule

Your Carilion credentials should never be used to authenticate something received through your personal email, text message, or personal social-media account.

Enhanced Shuttle Services Improve Patient and Employee Access

Submitted by eapullin on

We have enhanced our shuttle services across Carilion’s Roanoke campus to make it easier for patients, employees, and guests to travel between facilities, parking areas, and key campus locations.

The updated approach includes 4 shuttle options, with 3 using a simple color-coded wayfinding system at stops and on shuttle vehicles: green for campus, orange for Riverside, and blue for CRMH. On-Call is the fourth option and is available by request through Guest and Parking Services.
