CVI Wears Pink for Beth Bankston, CVI Business Senior Director

Submitted by schenshaw on

The CVI Leadership team wore pink today to support one of their peers, Beth Bankston. Beth was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2023. Her team has been by her side this last year, cheering her on and giving her love and support. CVI wanted to dedicate a day to Beth! Beth wants to remind everyone to get their mammogram!

Recognizing the need for help and lending a hand

Wanted to recognize Peter Hannon, who went above and beyond last week during endoscopy. He stopped in to see if we needed anything, and realized our patient was too heavy for us to maneuver easily. He stepped in, gladly helped us and stayed for the case to give abdominal pressure during the colonoscopy.

Super kind and so very appreciated!

Kidney Miracle

Submitted by akgraham on

Jessica Shervey is a 4 South PACU CA. Her husband Joey has been on the kidney transplant list. On July 16th Jessica and Joey found out there may be a potential live kidney donor for Joey. On July 18th Jessica and Joey met the potential donor via FaceTime. On August 5th, I received an evening phone call from Jessica Shervey who stated the potential donor was a perfect match and surgery was going to be scheduled. This was an exciting and tearful evening for many in the 4 South PACU as this was a miracle.
