Daleville CT

A patient came in this morning for a CT scan, he had never had a test like this & was very nervous. As he was leaving he stopped by the front desk & asked if we did any kind of awards or anything for the CT techs. He stated that the two young ladies who did his scan were both so kind and caring & put him at ease & made him feel so much better. I assured him I would do something to make sure they got the recognition they deserved. Laura StClair (CT Tech) & Ciara Christian (Rad Tech Assistant)

Above & Beyond

Laura Elliott, Practice Manager at Carilion OB/GYN Salem, went above and beyond to assist a patient following her visit. Recognizing the patient’s limited resources and unstable living situation, Laura took proactive steps to connect with the patient’s case manager and collaborate with Carilion Community Resources. Her efforts ensured that upon returning home, the patient would receive a thorough evaluation to address her needs. As a dedicated leader, Laura consistently draws on her social work background to advocate for patients and connect them with essential community services.

Their compassion and expertise are invaluable as they care for some of our most vulnerable patients and loved ones, as well as our own team members. Thanks Joe and Stefanie, we appreciate you.
