A few from Team Neuro in Roanoke
What a treat when Neuro is your beat!
Thanks to my Vinton staff for always thinking about our community and the people in it. The kiddos will enjoy all this candy!
I work in TSG Field Service and was on call Thursday, Oct29. I had an urgent call for CST and since my daily location is CRCH I wasn't quite sure the best route to the area where I was needed. Bailey stepped up and guided me voluntarily to where I was needed. I really appreciate her assistance and professional manner. Way to go, Bailey, and THANK YOU!!

I'd like to give a huge SHOUT OUT to RMH emergency room staff!!! Over the weekend, I was in a car accident and they were on top of everything! The moment I got to the hospital, I was immediately brought to the CT scanner and the test was conducted by Seth; never have I had to have this test and was terrified. Seth was incredibly nice and told me there was nothing to be worried about, and next thing I knew, it was over and they were wheeling me out. As I waited for my results, I was in the front lobby by the doors.
Congratulations to Christie Perry our October 2025 Inpatient Daisy Award Winner!

Here's what Christie's patient had to say about her:
The Forget Me Not team at CNRV hosted a Walk of Remembrance, recognizing Perinatal Loss Awareness Month. This walk is held each October to honor the memories of our babies lost through miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal loss. This year, we welcomed 23 attendees and made our way around the Pond Area to the CNRV Memorial Garden for a brief message of hope from our hospital Chaplain Dale Simpson.
Please join us in congratulating our 4th quarter DAISY Award winner — Ashley McPherson, LPN, CFM Shawsville!
Congratulations, Ashley! Your dedication to our patients and commitment to Carilion’s values are truly appreciated.
Going above and beyond during life's toughest time. Loresa Heyward, RMH chaplain, lives the standard of Compassion.
Loresa helped a spouse who just lost their mate in the ED navigate the myriads of choices and decisions no one hopes that they will ever have to make. To make matters more difficult this surviving spouse experienced this tragedy while traveling out of state and found themselves with no family and unsure where to turn and what to do next.
