Susan Wells is a registered nurse for the Critical Care Unit. Her commitment and compassion for her patients doesn't go unnoticed. She comes in each day with a smile on her face ready to help. She was nominated by four patients during the months of January and February. Each of those patients spoke about her compassion, professionalism, dedication and smiling face. How she made difficult situations better, how she spoke kindness and explained things. Thank you Susan for your work each day!

Big Thank You to the CRMH ED and 7 West!!

Submitted by RDMartin on

I recently had the distinction of being admitted through the CRMH ED to 7 West for complications arising from a "too-large-to-pass" kidney stone obstructing my left ureter.  I spent two nights up on 7 West and was discharged home Saturday.  I have always been treated well and received the best treatment in previous stays at CRMH but, while I cannot say it was a "pleasure" given the amount of pain I was in, what I can say is I received the best treatment I've ever had at any hospital by the most compassionate, attentive and professional medical team I have ever encountered.  T

I just want to thank him for helping me out tremendously when I  locked my keys in the car. This wasn't a easy task but he put his blood, sweat and tears into helping me get inside. He didn't get discouraged at all and he was determined to help me out. I give him 5 stars. t

Embodying Outstanding Leadership in the Midst of Difficult Times

I want to extend my gratitude to Deneen Davis, BSN who is the unit director of the Med-Surg and ICU at CSJH. Since the beginning of the newly adapted policies and regulations that have been developed to combat COVID-19, patient care and the safety, health and support of our staff have been her top priority. Though there are many others who have worked alongside and behind the scenes, Deneen's tireless efforts have not gone unnoticed or unappreciated.
