Inpatient Rehabilitation Family Trick R Treat

Submitted by jwcoleman on

Inpatient Rehabilitation staff at Community Hospital organized a family trick r treating event for children and pets.  Patients that wanted to participate were given candy to hand out from wheelchairs at the entrances to their rooms.  Patients really enjoyed getting to see all of the children and dogs dressed up, and many even invited their own families to the hospital to participate.  This was a great demonstration of Community and Compassion organized by Kelly Barge OT.

Keeping Our Community Healthy!

Submitted by jlbartlett on

Suzanne Stone, Cris Sheffield, and their nurses have been slammed this month with over 50 flu shot clinics for local businesses. Today, they did over 100 vaccinations at Delta Dental! They are killing it and we appreciate them so much!!! Way to go occupational health and community health and outreach!

Kudos to a resident

Dr. Tim Nguyen.

Our unit (8SR) have had many great residents working with us (I can't recall everyone's names but there are lots more) but I  wanted to give you a personal thank you/kudos/shoutout because you are always so personable with the patients, help nursing staff greatly by being approachable and always listen to us even on minor things.  Thanks for your eagerness to jump in and help, being a great team player, and truly showing that you have the patient's best interest at heart.
