We want to give a shoutout to the teams that it takes to serve our patients with the best equipment. From contracting, clinical engineering, finance, TSG, physics, maintenance, construction, and our radiology team – it takes many departments in Carilion to get the equipment we need to serve our patients.  We are excited to share our new mammography unit at CTCH and thank all involved.  We are committed to taking care of our patients and are excited to show off this new unit to better serve our patients.

The Diabetes Management & Prevention Team spent an afternoon together at Feeding Southwest Virginia filling bags with fresh produce and sorting food donations. This is our 2nd annual holiday volunteer event and we plan to continue this new tradition in the years to come. While saddened to hear that the local food insecurity statistics are more grim than last year, we're grateful to be able to contribute to FSWVA's noble work feeding our neighbors. 

The Sustainability department wants to say WOW and THANK YOU to members of Carilion's Logistics team: Thomas Jackson, Connie Newell, Eric Bolton and Tabitha Yeager for the help they provided today. 

We are celebrating Christmas with a potluck for the staff of ION Outpatient Therapy. Everyone shared delicious food and enjoyed spending time together!

I have been working on the TSG team for less than a year, and it's a team of great people. But Cindy stands out because she is always willing to help. Recently I went on call for my first time. I noticed that I was assigned to an incident, but my phone did not ring or alert me. It turns out that I was missing an app that is needed for this. Cindy called me and we walked through the phone.  Together we got the phone working properly.
