A Work of heART: Caroline Booth
Volunteer Services would like to recognize Caroline Booth, Referral Coordinator for Roanoke Cardiology (Crystal Spring), for going above and beyond to support this year's Lights of Love campaign!
In addition to supporting Carilion patients every day in her work role, Caroline is an incredibly talented artist who generously volunteered to hand-decorate ornaments for Lights of Love. Her beautiful work quickly caught the attention of her coworkers who were inspired to join in and many who even encouraged their kiddos to give back as well! What began as one person sharing her talents turned into a heartfelt team effort filled with creativity, connection, and community.
Caroline truly embodies Carilion's values by giving her time and talent in service to others! Every ornament on the Lights of Love tree honors a person who inspired others to give. That spirit of giving will enable Roanoke Volunteer Services to continue providing lodging support to out-of-town patients and families over the coming year, helping keep loved ones close during challenging times. Thank you to Caroline, Roanoke Cardiology staff, and kiddos who made our Roanoke tree so special this year!
