Tonya B, Resource Pool RN on CCU 9/11/2024

Submitted by nmanders on

I am an ED nurse and was not the primary nurse caring for the patient who was assigned to room 11. The primary nurse was off the floor and I was instructed to assist with getting the patient upstairs. Tonya was agreeable to take report over the phone so that I was able to utilize the patient's chart to give the best report that I could on a patient I didn't know well and was patient with me during the process. I greatly appreciate her being a team player and helping out the ED with movement of beds.

Virtual Care Operations August Great Catch

Submitted by cnsuba on

Virtual Care Operations recently launched a department-level "great catch" initiative that emulates the program of the same name pioneered by CAPS but exceeds the established standards in certain ways. Events that meet these criteria will be identified by the CTaC Quality Improvement Facilitator and forwarded to the Virtual Care leadership team for review and award on a monthly basis. The recipient(s) will be recognized in the monthly staff meeting and here on the WOW Wall as well as presented with a certificate of achievement.
