Since Tammy has become the manager for PC Medicaid, numerous problem have been resolved that has been on going for "years" such as taxonomy issues (along with multiple other provider issues) and Magellan claim payments due to a provider enrollment issue. She is such an asset to our team and would like to say "WOW".

Becker's Hospital Review named Rob Perry among top hospital and health system chief information security officers (CISO) to know in 2019. Many CISOs featured on the list are experts in health care cybersecurity and manage teams who specialize in keeping patient and provider data safe.

Carl Cline, MSN, RN, CMTE, Vice President of Carilion Clinic/Administrator of Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital was awarded the Distinguished Alumni Award for Jefferson College of Health Sciences.  Way to go Carl!!!!

I would like to thank the entire evening/night shift at Inpatient Rehab on 06-08 for their wonderful team work, their compassion for our patients and their concern for the patient’s safety during our Code Red Fire Alarm (not a drill). The second the alarm sounded-everyone staff member immediately acted and ensured all the doors on the unit were closed, the hallways were clear of clutter and they made sure every patient was safe and updated on the situation.

Jane Thomas Retires!

I would like to recognize Donna Foster the manager at FP Christiansburg and Brandi Thomas the manager at IM Galax for their commitment to their staff during Hospital and Healthcare week.

Both of these managers have a staff member of the Care Coordination Team sitting in their practices and they went out of their way to include them and make them feel like part of the team.

With practices outside a hospital setting it is often difficult to provide lots of different recognition and these ladies made the week interesting and enjoyable for their staff.
