I would like to recognize Valerie Ray, our Compliance and Privacy Program Assistant, who is often the first point of contact for incoming calls and emails to our office. In this role, Valerie routinely handles inquiries that can be complex, sensitive, and at times challenging whether from staff or patients.
Brandon Pauling with TSG worked very diligently to help me get my settings changed in EPIC to be able to perform double sided printing. He reached many brick walls, and it took 2 weeks to get it done, but Brandon wasn't giving up. Being able to print double sided will help save paper and I thank him for his diligence and his commitment to getting this task done.

On Saturday, March 28th, Carilion Clinic’s Sustainability Department held its 5th Community Electronics Recycling Event. This drive-through event was attended by 760 cars and collected 32,885 pounds of electronics for recycling! Every time we hold one of these events, we receive positive feedback from the community and comments that they are thankful that this provides an opportunity to dispose of these materials in a safe, secure and environmentally responsible manner.
