Family and Community Medicine Chair to Retire

Dr. Michael Jeremiah, senior vice president and chair of the department of Family and Community Medicine, will retire on Dec. 27.

Dr. Jeremiah has been with Carilion since 1995. He previously served as the medical director for the family medicine residency program for 12 years and has included care and teaching services in the hospital, Labor & Delivery and ambulatory settings.

Nexus Update: How Will You Use Workday and UKG?

We are planning to replace Infor (Lawson) with Workday and upgrade UKG to the Pro Workforce version. These tools are part of our Nexus project to modernize the technology we use for employee-related information and tasks.

Workday will replace My Total Access, Cornerstone and Excel expense reports. We’re upgrading to a newer version of UKG for timekeeping, scheduling and PTO requests
