As we enter the fall, we want to remind you of our COVID-19 illness management protocol.
If you are sick, follow standard Employee Health procedures and return to pre-pandemic protocols for managing illnesses. Please refer to the Employee Health policy (under the Downloads header below) for guidance on returning to work safely.
Key points from the Employee Health Policy:
As a reminder, benefit premiums for 2025 are calculated to be deducted out of 24 pay periods.
Benefit premiums come out of 2 paychecks per month. On the months there are 3 paychecks, like this month, benefit premiums are not deducted from the third check.
There are 2 exceptions when deductions occur over 26 pay periods:

Applications are being accepted from Sept. 1 – Nov. 30, with awards presented in January. Using a checklist and resources on the Sustainability Hub, your department can reduce energy and water use, improve air quality and cut waste. These changes create a healthier workplace and can also lower costs.
We are planning to transfer RN and nursing leaders' education and certification information from Cornerstone to Workday. It's important that this information is accurately reported for Magnet. If you are an RN or nursing leader, log in to Cornerstone and verify your education and Magnet-approved certification history by Monday, Sept. 1 to ensure the correct details move to the new system.
Employees who are not RNs or nursing leaders do not need to update their information in Cornerstone.
