I would just like to say thank you to everyone on our Care Coordination team for all the care they give to our patients on a daily basis. We have an amazing team led by Carla Markham, that goes above and beyond for our patients and each other daily.

I am posting this wow for my coworker at Pediatric Dental, Amber Bobbitt.  Yesterday we had a new patient that was hopelessly lost.  She called Amber, at check in a couple times, and Amber gave her directions and she just got more lost.  I heard Amber ask her where she was right now, and then she got up and went outside and found the person, a block up, and helped them find our entrance.  That is going above and beyond and I was very proud and inspired by her.  I think she so deserves a WOW for that.  The woman was so thankful and grateful, that due to Amber's

It has been a very difficult year for our Cardiopulmonary Rehab patients. Covid has kept many of our patients away, but we have also had to limit class size to adhere to social distancing guidelines. Our Cardiopulmonary team at CNRV wanted to do something special to recognize their patients during National Heart Month, so they opted to provide every patient with a fresh carnation on Valentine's Day. Our patients are like family and we wanted to offer them a small token of our appreciation.

I would like to recognize Hannah Henley, Neurodiagnostic Tech for jumping in to help assist a patient and spouse to the 13th floor. When Hannah was arriving to work she noticed a patient in the lobby area that needed assistance. Hannah asked the patient how she could assist her and retrieved a wheelchair and took the patient immediately to the 13th floor. Hannah THANK YOU FOR your commitment, compassion and quick skills to assist getting them to the right place!!!!! 

THIS MORNING WHILE ANSWERING PHONES WE HAD A PATIENT WHO WAS LOST AND NOT SURE WHERE HER APPOINTMENT WAS, AFTER LOOKING AND SEEING THAT THE PATIENT WAS NOT SCHEDULED IN OUR OFFICE,ASHLEY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND TRYING TO FIND WHERE HER APPOINTMENT WAS. SHE CALLED AROUND AND FOUND WHERE THE PATIENT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE,EVEN MADE AN APPOINTMENT FOR HER BECAUSE SHE MISSED HER APPOINTMENT FROM BEING LOST. THIS IS NOT JUST A ONE TIME INSTANCE, ASHLEY IS ALWAYS GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR PATIENTS AND HER WHOLE TEAM.

CFMH is celebrating National Wear Red Day to Recognize Women and Heart Disease

On 2/5/2021, Zachary Doran, Brian Sprouse and Kristen Dyer took a gentleman home to one of our localities known to be difficult to maneuver on the best of days, let alone after winter weather. Not only did they go an extra step in helping this gentleman get a gift for his significant other, as it was her birthday, but they also took the extra time to completely shovel the entryway and ramp for this family. This patient has to go out for appointments 3 times a week, so this crew helping them meant more than they will ever know.

Karen Alley, HAA  who works with the Care Coordination Team, along with other members of her church and sister church have amazing hearts full of empathy for nursing staff and others in their community. With the help of their local McDonald's they delivered 83 breakfast biscuits to the emergency room staff of their local hospital Twin County Regional on Christmas Eve. In January they prepared gift bags for the eight school nurses serving 3,500 students and 600 staff members at Carroll County public schools.
