CFMH's Speech & Language Pathologist, Jena Beecher, worked one on one with nursing staff as the Yale Swallow Protocol rolled out for every admitted patient at CFMH. Jena created education flyers and marked cups with visual cues to assist nurses with this change. she also had some treats to share! Way to go above and beyond to collaborate with staff to take care of our patients!

A huge shout out to Amy Gilliam, Hospitalist Practice Manager, for offering to jump in and help EVS staff clean patient rooms this past Monday. Her willingness to roll up her sleeves to support our EVS team speaks volumes about who she is. She leads with heart, takes ownership, and consistently shows strong leadership and professionalism. She does not do this for herself - she does it for the TEAM. THANK YOU Amy! Your leadership truly makes a difference.

I want to thank Hilary Hedrick and Emmanuel Tetteh for collaborating together to establish a connection for our International Travelers to purchase cuisine that is not available locally. Hilary expressed the need and Emmanuel jumped in offering to transport and purchase these items from Greensboro, NC. This meant so much to me! The little things do affect so many lives and I thank YOU for going the extra mile.
