Hard work does not go unnoticed at CFM Christiansburg- Leah Price

Submitted by ahkingrea on

Leah Price has demonstrated hard work, compassion and professionalism. While being short staffed, Leah takes on multiple roles such as medical records, training new employees and learning how to do FMLA paperwork. These new roles are on top her current workload and she has never complained.  She comes to work with a smile and is eager to help employees with phone calls and answer any questions to help new hires. The care she gives to patients is phenomenal, she will make sure the patient receives and understands all the answers to any questions they may have.

Hunter Dean is a great ED nurse. Being an ED nurse comes natural to him. Recently, during a busy shift, he saw a coworker choking and needing assistance. Without a moment's hesitation, he stepped into action. By his quick assessment of the situation and intervention, he helped prevent the situation from getting worse. Thank you, Hunter, for your efforts! We appreciate all that you bring to the team!

CHO is a good neighbor in SE Roanoke

I’d like to thank the Urban Farm team for being such a positive addition to the Morningside neighborhood. As part of CMP, I got to support CHO’s outreach to neighbors when we first established the Farm. Now that I live on the same street, I see that ongoing respect and care with every event, including the recent harvest festival. Some neighbors were concerned about parking beforehand, but the CHO team managed visitor parking in such a way that residents weren't impacted – and visitors got some healthy steps in!
