We had a discharge patient that called with a lot of questions on insulin administration and usage.  After Kim had spoken with them the first time, they called back again so she asked them if they had time to come to the hospital so she could teach them to properly do the insulin usage with them. She was Charge RN and picked it up and ran with it like a pro! Thankful for all she does to help everyone in need!

Kudos for Velocity Care Tanglewood!

Submitted by RDMartin on

I had to bring my wife to Velocity Care Tanglewood on Friday afternoon for a possible broken foot after we were unable to secure a visit with her regular orthopedist.  Not only did they take excellent care of her (yes, her foot was indeed broken in 2 places), but I observed everyone from the person checking-in patients to the nurses, radiology tech and really all of the staff demonstrate courtesy, professionalism and compassion for all of the patients in their care.  Dr.
