Cindy Meadows is celebrating 20 years with Carilion this month! She has served faithful throughout her career and her impact has never been felt more strongly than during the pandemic. As the main chaplain covering the 1st Covid units she laid the ground work on how we would support patient's, families, and staff the past 19 months. Congratulations to Carilion Clinic for winning the 2020 United Way of the Roanoke Valley’s Shining Star Award. The award recognizes boots on the ground agencies that provide direct services to the community. Carilion received this award for the system wide COVID vaccination clinics, its outreach work to respond to the pandemic and for conducting the 2021 Community Health Assessment during the pandemic.
