Carilion Clinic received the United Way of the Roanoke Valley’s Shining Star Award

Congratulations to Carilion Clinic for winning the 2020 United Way of the Roanoke Valley’s Shining Star Award. The award recognizes boots on the ground agencies that provide direct services to the community. Carilion received this award for the system wide COVID vaccination clinics, its outreach work to respond to the pandemic and for conducting the 2021 Community Health Assessment during the pandemic.
