Dr. Sasha Rai and I are still in our first stages of working with one another, but still I knew I could count on him to be of assistance to a particular family in their time of need.
With very short notice , Dr. Rai came to the rescue of this family yesterday and has already made plans to continue his work with them!
His education and skills in Neurology and Psychiatry was just what this family needed. My applause to him for acting so quickly, with grace and , NO QUESTIONS ASKED.

I'd like to acknowledge Roger Carroll, EVS tech in the ER at NRVMC. He is an example of commitment. Regardless of how busy he is, Roger consistently asks if there is anything we need. Always makes sure that our work place is clean and that we have all the supplies that we need. He is a role model for others. We appreciate Roger's commitment to provide a clean, safe place for staff and patients while they are in the ER.
I am a two week old Carilion employee and have had to reach out to TSG several times... ok like twenty (but who is counting). Each and every time they have been FANTASTIC to work with. So nice and helpful with great attitudes!!! I am so impressed and just had to give that team a shout out!! As part of Carilion Clinic’s ongoing partnership with Virginia Tech Athletics, we were able to recognize Carilion health care professionals throughout the 2021-22 Virginia Tech football and men's and women's basketball seasons. Employees who were recognized represented ALL of Carilion Clinic's Health Care Heroes for the work they have done and continue to do during the COVID-19 pandemic.

We now have vaccines and boosters to help prevent COVID’s spread, new treatments that help our patients recover and, importantly, invaluable experience fighting a highly contagious disease.
