Blue Ridge Cancer Care’s EMR is now accessible directly within Epic through the new iKnowMed Patient Viewer (iPV) activity.
About iPV
The iKnowMed Patient Viewer integrates the iKnowMed patient record with Carilion’s Epic application, allowing clinicians to view patient information without leaving Epic. Data in iPV is updated in real time and can be accessed with a single click.
iPV displays the following information:
- Care team details
- Referring practice name and address
- Documented problems
- Vital signs (viewable by date range)
- Lab results (viewable by date range)
- Administered and scheduled medications
- Documented allergies
- Clinical notes
