Vicki Holloway's Follow Up fixed A Problem

Vicki pulled a unit dose cup of guaifenesin with dextromethorphan from Pyxis and noticed that it would not let her use a partial dose of the medication. She questioned the pharmacist which prompted the pharmacy staff to investigate why the medication would not let her use a partial dose. Vicki's question helped the pharmacy identify that the incorrect med (an oral solution and not a syrup) had been sent from pharmacy supply. We were able to quickly remove that stock from Pyxis and notify Roanoke so they were able to pull the medication from all Pyxis machines that also had the wrong med loaded. Thanks to Vicki questioning why something had changed.
