CTCH Embracing Families

Being in healthcare, we often take for granted that everyone delivers compassion to our patients.  What we must remember is that showing compassion is a choice.  It is not something you can teach.  It is an emotion given from the heart.  That is exactly what these teams did.  A letter was written to the staff of CTCH by a family member that was dealing with the transition of his Grandfather from this life. 

Statements like…

“They went above and beyond with the care and compassion they have shown my Grandfather and our entire family! No one single nurse alone but each and every one has all worked so hard and been so compassionate; even the cafeteria staff have went out of their way to check on us.”

Let us all take a moment to thank all the employees that deliver compassion from the heart.  May these souls be blessed beyond measure.
