SAVING LIVES AT CNRV

Saving lives here at Carilion New River Valley not only for the people of our community but the lives of others. Today I was coming into work, When I notice something that was moving in the dumpster. It was 3 kittens that have gotten stuck inside. They were wet and crying for help, The kittens was trying to jump out but was unsuccessful. I immediately called security when they arrived they assessed the situation. They immediately called for maintenance to come with a ladder to help the kittens. After maintenance got there with the ladder they decides to open the back up and went into the dumpster to try to help the kittens out. We was successful getting them out. I want to thank to all the staff  that came to the rescue of the 3 little lives. If it wasn't for the caring staff that showed up who knows what could have happen to them. Saving live here not only for the people but the lives of other living things. Thank you to all and so grateful to be here with such caring people. Big thanks to Maintenance and Security!
