Velocity Care - Daleville

For many years, my family has used the Velocity Care in Daleville for our urgencies that are not emergencies (frequent flyers with two younger kids).  They have always provided my family with the most professional and outstanding customer service.  Since Covid has changed how they do their daily work, from registering patients from the parking lot to the Covid protocol in caring for patients, every encounter with this incredible group has been top notch.

As part of the Carilion family and orientation team, I know some of the struggles that this team faces daily but no matter what they just encountered (good or bad), they treat me and my family like I was their first and only patient of the day and put all their problems and issues aside while dealing with us.  They do that for each patient…I have seen it firsthand.  The front staff are the first and last impression that patients get to see and they truly do represent what Carilion is all about.

To be able to do that takes collaboration, commitment, compassion, courage, and curiosity as well as grace, love, forgiveness, confidence, leadership, creativity, being humble, hardworking, enthusiastic, positive, reliable, and ambitious.  This group of employees have support from their leadership and a team structure that is incredible.  I unfortunately do not work with them directly daily, but I know these employees are the most loving and caring individuals I have ever encountered. Thank you, Velocity Care of Daleville, for always going above and beyond each day!  YOU ROCK!
