Small Acts of Kindness that Mean the World

A small act of kindness by Paul King meant the world to both me and my daughter.

I came in for my booster shot for one of the clinics. My child care situation was challenging that day, so I brought my 2 year old with me for the quick in and out visit and Paul was checking everyone in.

Paul surprised my daughter after I got my vaccines, with a few packs of crackers from the cafeteria to feed the fish. He knew we would have to wait for about 15 minutes before we could leave and made those 15 minutes magical for my little girl! She was THRILLED to see all of the fishies and frogs, find out that there were baby fishies in the pond, and learn the best way to throw the crackers to make sure everyone could reach them.

It was such a small thing, but really made a big difference in our day. I think it's an amazing example of the way CNRV staff truly are a family, finding ways to bring joy and support to each others' days.
