Daisy Award Winner - Kristina Brown, RN - October2021

I went to the Infusion Center on 09/2/21 to receive COVID antibodies. I was a very sick man. Kristie came to my care to bring me inside and from the moment I met her, she treated me like family. She was very patient as I made my way inside. She not only did her job, she asked about my family, my children and my grandson. She smiled and told me how sorry she was I was feeling bad. She shared a little about herself and family and bragged about her co-workers and her hospital. She is a proud Carilion Employee, and it is obvious she loves her job and truly enjoys caring for people. She did a fantastic job that day and I walked away feeling better….not because of the medicine but because of the way Kristie cared for me. You are lucky to have her as an employee. She is a tribute to Carilion and CNRV.
