CNRV Ambulatory Daisy Winner

Congratulations Joan Kesterson, RN for being our Ambulatory winner for the month of June! Here is what her patient had to say: 

I had my first colonoscopy May 19th, 2021. Any procedure is always a scary experience. Once I was taken to a room, Joan automatically calmed my fears. She was very friendly and helpful. I was the last patient for the day so my wait was a little longer than expected but my nurse made sure everything with me and my husband was fine. She checked in on us several times. They had a really busy day and I know my nurse had to be tired, but she was always nice and courteous, checking on me and making sure I was okay. Once the procedure was over she was with me letting me know the doctor would be in to talk to me and wanted to know if I needed anything to drink, which she brought to me right away. After my IV was removed she made sure I was okay. She offered to help me get dressed and walked me to the front door for my husband to pick me up. Joan always had a smile on her face and made my fears so much better that day. Outstanding Nurse! I would like to add that the entire department was phenomenal!
