I received this note from a very appreciative physician:

"I'd like to pass along a note of appreciation and admiration of Nurse Libby Woodyard.  When a patient needed a medication that was unavailable on a weekend she went out of her way to get what was needed.  Libby is a team player.  She exemplifies many of Carilion's Core values:  Collaboration, Compassion, Commitment, and Courage.  On her birthday during her lunch break, and despite this not being her patient, she volunteered to go and buy the medication and bring it back for the patient.  

Her Courage to do what was right, Commitment to the patient, Compassion for what the patient was going through, and Collaboration with the team is impressive!!
