Breast Care Scheduler Making a Difference

Thank you to the schedulers at the Jefferson St Breast Care Center  for the awesome job they do scheduling our patients and for providing them with information on resources in case they cannot afford their mammograms. I had the pleasure of enrolling a patient into the Every Woman's Life Program for her annual screening mammogram. She found out about the program when she called to cancel her screening mammogram. Connie informed her that she was not going to cancel the appointment until she spoke to EWL. The patient had recently lost her insurance and is taking care of her husband, grandchild, and elderly mother. After screening the patient to see if she qualified, she started crying because she was so relieved to be able to keep her appointment.  Thank you Connie and all of the Schedulers for everything you do for our patients.
