CFMH's Karen Pagans Takes on Fellow Staff Members Caseload in her time of need
Submitted by Martha Lovell, CNA, CFMH Home Health
I had to go on FMLA unexpectedly with my husband who had to stay in ICU in CRMH with Gillian Barre Syndrome. He was then transferred to Intensive Inpatient Therapy. Karen had to take care of my patients along with her patients and she never once complained! Karen always called to check on Troy and myself, always very upbeat, and I could hear her smiling and saying "Dont you worry about anything, I've got this, you just take care of Troy!" That meant so much to me because I knew my patients were being taken care of and with what Troy was going through at times, I couldn't think straight. Karen is a wonderful, loving CNA and person, and I am honored to be working with her and to call her my friend. Karen shows commitment and community to our Team! Thank you Karen!
