Dalton Ward and Ward receive 3rd Place at NAON

Congratulations to Ellen Dalton Ward and Dr. Cindy Ward for receiving 3rd place in the Research track at the 2021 National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses (NAON) Annual Congress for their poster entitled "Impact of the Influenza Vaccination on the Orthopedic Surgical Patient". This study was completed as Ellen's Nursing Research Fellowship, and Dr. Cindy Ward was Ellen's mentor. The study resulted in a practice change leading to more orthopedic surgery patients being offered the influenza vaccination.
