Hat's off to Brenda Kellam, POA

Just want to recognize Brenda Kellam for her over and above compassion.  Brenda was a POA with a patient that was being upgraded to the ICU.  His breathing was labored and he was understandably apprehensive.  When Clinical Administrators entered the room to help with his transfer, Brenda was at the patient's bedside, continually comforting him and holding his hand.  She stayed by his bedside the entire time and offered to accompany us during the transfer even though her shift was over.  She was so genuine in her care and her calmness and professionalism were wonderful to witness.  She was really a blessing to the patient and to others that were in the room.
