Help Us Enroll More Patients in MyChart
Patient participation in MyChart not only benefits the patient, but can also decrease time completing routine tasks within your practice. For example, MyChart's eCheck-In features such as address and contact information updates, insurance card upload and pre-paid co-pay fees save time at check in. Office phone calls will also reduce since lab results and prescription refill requests can be accessed through MyChart.
Using Epic’s MyChart In-Room Signup screen, enroll patients from the exam room while they wait to see a provider:
- Activate their account by selecting Rooming and launch MyChart signup.
- Once the MyChart window is secured in Epic, the patient can click the Sign Up Now button and download the MyChart app directly to their phone.
If a patient contacts your practice for help outside of a visit, you can generate a MyChart activation code within Epic’s Patient Demographics form. Simply click the MyChart status hyperlink to email the patient a sign-up request. They must respond to the email within 24 hours before the link expires.
