COVID Warriors

I wanted to take a minute to give a shout out to 8 Mountain PCU and ICU. These two units are the designated COVID units for RMH. I am proud to be part of an amazing team! The staff on these two units have compassion for what they do every day! The times of nursing and taking care of these patients on our floors look a little different these days from what we wear, how we have to approach our patients, and even missing the human touch that some of our patients need. My peers/co-workers work so hard and deserve the recognition on all the hard work they do every day (from having skin breakdown from our constant N95/P100 mask use, to flipping our patients from Positive, rule outs, to being neg and having to transfer them off our floor). These nurses, nursing assistants, and MD/PA/NP's are the brave caring souls behind our worlds current crisis.
