9MPCU 'A-Team'

I chose Collaberation as the leading Carilion value, but I want to add compassion and commitment as well for the phenomenal team I worked with today on 9 Mountain PCU at CRMH. Theresa Kern has put together an outstanding team on this unit! Nursing aid, Brooklyn, was such a trooper as the only aid on the floor today-but not once did I hear her complain. And why would she?-when the exemplory RNs on this unit rose to the occasion, helping out with even the most mundnane of tasks, like changing out telemetry box batteries or grabbing a drink for a thirsty patient. It was a busy day on the unit, but everyone kept a cool demeanor and a pleasant attitude throughout. I felt welcomed on the floor and was happy to stay the entire shift as their monitor tech. RNs Jamie, Jeff, Kelly and their charge today, Stefani, were a delight to work with. The total care aspect of this unit is tops!
