Compassionate Courtney!

Our members notice that everyone who works at Carilion Wellness Westlake is great, but one member stopped by to say that Courtney Farren is something REALLY special!

Last week, while she was acting as lifeguard, a man came in who needed help getting in and out of the pool. Courtney got off the stand and helped him. When he needed to stop to take a break, members noticed Courtney was patient and then continued to help him into the pool. 

The next time this member saw Courtney, a female member using a walker came into the pool area. She wanted to use ankle weights while in the water. Courtney got the weights from where they are stored and put them on for her. 

The member who reported Courtney's compassion wanted me to know that she is really special and, while everyone is fantastic, she is truly a great hire! We think so, too! We are grateful to have Courtney and are thrilled to hear other people notice just how special she is!
